Do you install just AC systems?
We only install energy-efficient Mitsubishi and American Standard heat pump systems. These heat pumps are premium products and provide heating/cooling functions.
Do you install ducted gas furnaces?
The focus at Got Watts is the electrification of homes. We take customers from gas to electrical systems such as ducted and ductless heat pumps. Therefore, we no longer install ducted gas furnaces.
What is a mini split system?
Ductless heating (also known as mini splits, a ductless heat pump, or mini-split AC) is a type of heating and cooling system that doesn't require any ductwork. It moves heat energy around rather than producing it. The system has an outdoor compressor unit that's connected to one or more indoor air handling units.
What brand of HVAC equipment do you install?
We only install energy-efficient Mitsubishi and American Standard heat pump equipment. We are also a Certified Diamond Contractor with Mitsubishi.
What is a Kumo Cloud?
Kumo Cloud is an app that connects you to your Mitsubishi HVAC system via your smartphone or tablet for remote control and monitoring every zone in your home.
What is a heat pump?
Heat pumps offer an energy-efficient alternative to furnaces and air conditioners for all climates. Like your refrigerator, heat pumps use electricity to transfer heat from a cool space to a warm space, making the cool space cooler and the warm space warmer. Does Got Watts install wall or floor furnaces?
We understand these used to be very popular; however, time has shown these are no longer safe or viable in-home solutions. We only install energy-efficient Mitsubishi and American Standard heat pump equipment.
If I purchase heating/cooling equipment with a tracked serial number, will Got Watts install it?
Due to liability concerns, we can only install products and components supplied by Got Watts.
Can we keep our old ducting when we upgrade to a heat pump system?
Due to liability concerns and system design, we always install new ducting and do not reuse existing ducting for new ducted heat pump systems.
