Amazing experience with Got Watts from start to finish. They installed solar panels and upgraded our electrical panel, and the entire process was smooth and well organized. Appointments were easy to schedule, everyone showed up on time, and the panels were installed without any issues. Got Watts was actually my first choice when I started looking into solar years ago, and I’m so glad I ultimately went with them. We wanted a team that wouldn’t disappear in a few years like many other solar companies, especially after having a bad experience with another company that pulled a bait-and-switch. We figured if we were going to put holes in our roof, we’d need to look for honest, reputable professionals. Got Watts delivered. Jarrett was fantastic throughout the process, always helpful and responsive. Mark, the electrician, was knowledgeable, professional, and great to work with, and the entire installation crew was efficient, respectful, and careful in our home. They did a great job explaining the work and making sure everything was completed properly. Their online project updates were especially helpful for people like me who want to know where things stand throughout the project. We’re very happy with the finished solar system and electrical panel upgrade and would ONLY recommend Got Watts to anyone considering solar.
Skylar S @Got Watts showed up at my door at just the right time. I needed a new roof and it was the perfect time to get a solar system installed. He helped me understand the options, pricing/discounts, and process. He helped get estimates from roofers and connected me with TCU for project loans. He answered questions along the way, checked in on the progress and practiced high-quality professional customer service throughout. The system is up and running (after a Tesla battery replacement) and generating power! First bill from PG&E was $38; second was $2! Thank you, Skylar and Got Watts!
Sam and her team were amazing! I LOVE my system! And, a week after installation, I had an unrelated electrical issue happen, and Got Watts sent their team out to fix the issue, even though we WEREN'T in their normal service area! They had someone out here faster than expected, didn't charge me extra for traveling far, and they have been so.incredibly helpful the entire time! Not only would i recommend them, but if you get solar anywhere else, you are going to be missing out!

We talked to several solar companies before we spoke with Sam (Samantha) Moore at GotWatts. Wow, what terrific service. She helped us make the right equipment decisions and then stayed with us when needed through the whole installation and permission to operate process. We had installed a big solar system on a previous house so we knew something about how complex a solar installation is. You need a contact at the company that understands what is going on and can communicate well. Sam was terrific as was the whole GotWatts team. Our small home in Walnut Creek now generates a little more than 100 percent of our needs during most of spring, summer, and fall. We're very happy with Sam and the company. They do what they say they will.
Greg Barker, Got Watts Sales Rep assisted me in settling up my solar system. He educated me on how the solar system - panels worked, how I would save on my electrical bill and patiently answered all of the many questions I had. It was a very pleasant experience to have worked with him and would highly recommend him to family and friends.
Working with Got Watts was a breath of fresh air. We had reached out to multiple companies and found many of them to exhibit questionable bidding practices that raised red flags. Yet, when we worked with Samantha from GotWatts, all we experienced was professionalism, transparency, honesty, and kindness. Samantha M helped us with estimates for a solar and battery installation for our home. While we ultimately chose not to proceed with the project, our experience working with her was outstanding. Sam was professional, knowledgeable, and extremely responsive throughout the process. She was patient in answering our questions and provided clear, helpful information every step of the way. Even though we didn't move forward, I would not hesitate to recommend her to others exploring solar options.
Sam Moore went over and above to timely answer all of my questions and provide documentation pre-signing that allowed me to make an informed decision about solar. I've now signed the contracts and everything is exactly as she represented and documented. I trust her and can't recommend her highly enough in this regard.
I am an Engineer and evaluated and interviewed on site - in my ( large; house in Piedmont 4 companies and two by phone . Gottwatt impressed me by proposing a better layout than the others . The communication followed by installation was smooth and professional,,,, from battery and electric wire installation to painting of the conduits on the outside of the house . Their price was second lowest . I rate them a 10;

Got Watts was great to deal with as they installed a whole house fan to replace a prior unit that had failed. Once I accepted their bid, they came out next day for the installation. In the process of that work, they cleaned up some work that was improperly done by prior contractors which had actually caused the prior fan to burn out and further was a safety hazard. All is working perfectly now, and I am very pleased. Highly recommended.
I can’t say enough good things about this company! We have had solar panels, sub panels and now Heat pump HVAC installed by them. Honest transparent company with excellent workmanship, expertise, and customer service. They are good to their employees and they offer cutting edge technology. Love supporting this local family business!

Got Watts? was excellent. I got quotes from 5 different solar companies and Got Watts? offered me the best value in terms of price, equipment, installation flexibility, and overall customer service. I recommend them to anyone who it thinking about getting solar or batteries. I will likely use them in the future if I need any general electrical work done at my house also. The guys in the office that started off the process, Dan and Anthony did a great job of getting me set up with exactly what I needed, answered my questions thoroughly, and offered recommendations based on what I thought that I wanted. The install team of Danny and Telmo were awesome too. I did not hesitate if I had to step away for a few hours during the install and realistically I did not need to be there for any of it. Their experience shows. I did not interact with the rooftop guys Jose and Jason much, but from what I saw from the ground, their installation is excellent. It all passed inspection on the first try and Marc took care of everything with the county inspector. I am an incredibly satisfied customer and if you are thinking about getting solar, you should at least get an estimate from Got Watts?

[Cross-posted from Yelp] We've been live with our solar and battery system for about 4 months now, and we are very happy with the system Got Watts put together for us. We got quotes from 6 different places, and while Got Watts was not the cheapest quote, we were confident they would get the job done with the highest quality install. They were also able to include our panel upgrade in the work. We appreciated that they are able to handle all the paperwork, appointments, permits, and reviews - there's a lot to do! Each team member we worked with along the way were friendly, helpful, and always willing to answer questions. Jarrett in Sales helped us understand solar and battery basics, and created several proposals to help us decide the best system for us. Danny and his team did all the electricity and wiring work in our home, and we were appreciative they took time and care to keep things neat and clean, especially since the access to the attic space was in our daughter's room. John and Steve installed our panels, and Mark did our final day install and walkthrough. Everyone was great!
Got watts is incredible. Dont hesitate. Eric is so professional and experienced. They are meticulous about safety and quality and were on time had all the parts and even dealt with permits!!! They come on time and are available for service and tweaking. Ben and Jed were especially great to putting in a 3 unit heat pump system. We’ve used them now twice and really like his company and their people.
Got Watts continues to do amazing work for us. They're prompt, attentive, and do high quality work. We originally had them install a large solar array and a couple of batteries for us. We recently had them out again to add another battery, move a circuit, and add a new outlet. They graciously squeezed us in to accommodate my wife who was imminently giving birth and finished the work quickly and cleanly. I wish we could find other trades that meet the Got Watts level of service and support!
I reached out to GotWatts about adding solar panels to my home. They gave me several solid options and clearly explained efficiency, ROI, and cost. Their transparency was refreshing, and their pricing beat my other quotes, so I chose them. Throughout the process they were honest, communicative, and fast—doing exactly what they said they would. I’ve had the panels for a few weeks now, and they’re performing exactly as promised. If I ever add more panels or a battery, I’ll go straight to them. Highly recommend if you want your project done right and done efficiently!
We used Got Watts for solar panel installation on two houses and most recently a solar backup battery. Their proposals were by far the most detailed and best organized. Installations were seamless. We needed the solar battery installed quickly to get a rebate, and they installed it within a few days. Prices were competitive and service was outstanding!
I cannot recommend these guys any more highly - they were fast, professional, and did very high quality work at a fair price! You can’t go wrong.

From the original proposal through implementation, GotWatts impressed me with their professionalism and their responsiveness. The process was smooth, expectations throughout were clearly defined and met, and their customer portal was an excellent medium for communicating with the various people who were working on our project. A special callout for Alejandro and Enrique, who came onsite to handle the bulk of the implementation and were diligent in their problem-solving efforts as they worked through the reality of applying the design to our home.
