Had a great experience with Got Watts from the first touch point through the installation and inspection process of our new solar system and whole house fan. They have a portal that shows what the process is and where you are in it. I got messages informing me anytime the status changed. Everyone I met from the company was super personable and on top of things. The communication was wonderful and Mallory kept me updated every step of the way. Anytime they came out for site survey, install and inspection I got a text message ahead of time letting me know when they would arrive. All-in-all it was an experience that surpassed my expectations. Highly recommend this company to anyone else looking for solar or electrical!
I decided to install solar panels with battery storage to my home. I did some research online and consulted with my neighbors who had recently installed solar panels. After hearing pitches from 4 other solar companies, I talked with Got Watts. They proposed a solar power system with EcoFlow batteries, inverter and related panel that made a lot of sense. Pricing was a bit higher than other solar companies, but they clearly don’t take shortcuts and they do first rate work. They were efficient and timely with installation and all work was done by Got Watts personnel (no subcontractors). They care about quality work and make sure that all of your questions and choices regarding solar power installation are addressed. Great team at Got Watts and I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to add solar power, batteries or address other electrical work.
We love Got Watts! We have worked with them to install new solar panels, to replace our HVAC, and to install Powerwalls. They are responsive, kind, and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

We hired Got Watts for our solar and battery installation. The entire process went so smoothly. Communication was great across all team members. I loved that nothing felt pushy. I was able to take my time and explore options. A special shout out to Alex that did most of the work on our property. He was amazing to work with. Tim and Jessie were also excellent. Finally, Jeremy was a great salesman and a as available anytime I needed him. Excited to be new solar owners!

The GottWatts team is large, and it pulled together a complex installation involving 34 solar panels, 2 large batteries, and a new 200 Amp service panel. Got Watts greatly exceeded our expectations. Clear explanation of what to expect and all install timelines and costs gone over upfront. They helped dial in the project to meet our goals and after 2 weeks of operation we are thrilled with the results. Install barely took two days and super professional. We looked at some larger national companies and found Got Watts to be more thorough and cost effective. Absolutely recommend Got Watts for your Solar needs.

Total professionals from start to finish. From the time we signed up with Got Watts to the day we were able to power up the system was about 5 weeks. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, professional and focused on getting us to this point. 10/10 would use these folks again.
Did a Tesla powerwall+Span Panel upgrade from Got Watt? and had a great experience. The home had 208V power from the grid that we didn't realize and incompatible with the powerwall, instead of giving up and just refunding, Got Watt took the extra effort to develop and install a solution without extra charge.

Purchased Solar from Got Watts due to all the positive reviews and we were not disappointed. Every staff member is professional, knowledgeable and responsive. The project was executed exactly as they outlined from the beginning and any issues or questions we had along the way were quickly and professionally addressed. I would recommend Got Watts to anyone and everyone looking for a trustworthy Solar or HVAC company.
These are the folks to hire. Time from the initial design to permitting was PG&E review was quick. Install, sign off and PTO would have been just as fast but we had to wait for our roof to be replaced. Roofers were slammed and weather didn’t help any. When the roof went on we were scheduled for solar install the next week! Crews were very professional, shared knowledge, and recommended approaches that saved time and money.

Had solar installed by the Got Watts team. Initially started with SolarSage but also wanted to check local companies to support local business and found them on Google maps. Want to thanks all the staff over the process from Sam having multiple video calls to go over questions and concerns, and the individuals and crews who came out to survey, install, and inspect (Chris, Daniel, Justin, Marc, and crew). Friendly and respectful. Lindsay and Mallory responded to my messages quickly as well. One thing is that Got Watts were able to install the Enphase Net Meter but due to issues on PG&E side, they did not have anyone trained to install so it delayed the project by two weeks. An Enphase rep and PGE rep came together to install. Hopefully no one else will face this issue.
Got Watts installed an EV charger. Chris Jones developed a cost effective plan to use our existing electrical panel. This was a tricky installation. Brian and Brandin did an excellent job in installing the unit in a downstairs garage of a second floor condo. They successfully concealed much of the wiring and as a result minimal wall repair is required. Highly recommended.
Really straightforward process, and was really easy to work with the Got Watts team! They helped us spec out a couple different designs, think through how to design a system around future improvements we want to make to the house, as well as help figure out all the financials to make sure we have a system that will essentially pay for itself. My personal goal with solar was to stabilize our utility costs against PG&E rate hikes as I am recently disabled and adjusting to a fixed income, and couldn’t be happier with our system!

The process was really transparent; starting with the proposal as all the details are defined there. Everyone I worked with was courteous and let me know what will be done while they are here and what will happen for the next step. They are also quick to answer any questions and/or concerns. Was very wonderful and stress free process. Would highly recommend!
